Majid Zaghari, General Manager

Majid has 20 years of experience in the food service industry, serving as an Executive Chef, Production Manager, Senior Retail Manager, Director of Retail, Food Service Director, and Acting District Manager for Aramark at varous higher education institutions, including the University of Florida and, most recently, at Bowie State University. Majid received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rabat, and has earned professional management certifications in professional management, retail operation management, and HACCP. Majid has extensive experience as a senior manager overseeing large scale food operations and demonstrated abilities to drive food operations to achieve excellence.

Peter Moutsos, Executive Chef

Peter is an outstanding addition to the Kidztable kitchen and overall operation, with 30 years of experience as a chef. His varied and extensive background includes working as the Executive Chef for Georgetown University, Chef De Cuisine at the U.S. Treasury Dining Room, Executive Chef for Food and Friends, and Executive Chef for Aramark at Sidwell Friends School. He has also worked as an on-call chef for the Swiss Embassy and the White House, and held Chef de Cuisine positions at various restaurants in Washington DC. Peter is an award winning chef who received his professional training at George Brown College, Toronto, Canada. We very much look forward to his expertise and experience as we continue to develop the KidzTable menu and food services to be without rival.

Zane Anderson, Operations Manager

Zane has an extensive background in operations management within the food and beverage industry. He has served in operations management with Marriott hotels, opened 3 independent food and beverage operations and worked for 10 years in the organic and natural foods grocery industry. Zane received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Stratford University.  Since growing up in a farming community in Wisconsin, Zane has been actively involved in farm-to-table food and community supported agriculture programs. Since moving to Maryland in 2004, Zane now spends much of his personal time teaching his son the importance of nutrition, how to prepare healthy meals, and how to tend to a family vegetable garden.

Kathy Shulman, Marketing and Sales Representative

Kathy is passionate about the local and healthy food movement that is growing in our region and country. Kathy enjoys partnering with our dedicated customers to ensure that as many children as possible in our region can benefit from KidzTable’s healthy and delicious meals. 

Kathy has 30 years of experience in building strong social enterprises and engaging stakeholders in these efforts. Prior to joining the KidzTable team, Ms. Shulman helped to take the nutritional education programs to scale at Baltimore City Schools’ Great Kids Farm. Kathy has served as executive director of the Public Justice Center and the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism. She also has experience engaging volunteers in national organizations. Finally, Kathy walks her talk as she belongs to a local Community Supported Agriculture Farm, shops at farmer’s markets and cans vegetables and fruits every summer.

Dorethea Jackson, Head Chef

Dorethea’s love of cooking translates into every meal she prepares at KidzTable.   Dorethea draws from her past experience to create healthy, new and exciting meals for the children that we serve.

Dorethea Jackson has worked for over 40 years in the food service industry. She attended Baltimore City Community College for Food Service Management. Her past experience includes working as a Sous Chef for the National Art Gallery in D.C. for 6 years. There she prepared meals for Washington dignitaries, prime ministers and royalty from all around the world. In 1996, Ms. Jackson worked in the kitchen of the Centennial Olympic Village, where she prepared meals for over 11,000 athletes for the Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Prior to becoming the Head Production Chef for KidzTable, Dorethea worked as the Head Cook for Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church for 15 Years.
