The KidzTable Difference

What makes KidzTable stand out? Below are some of the reasons why requests for our services have more than quadrupled in the last three years.

  1. Our meals are made with only fresh ingredients, making extensive use of seasonal and local produce. We use no fried foods, artificial trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup, or artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, or sweeteners. Instead of fried chicken, ours is crispy and oven baked.  
  2. KidzTable serves homemade food – with the same care, attention to detail, and wholesome goodness. As an example, the children really give a thumb’s up to love Chef Harriet’s homemade chili and cornbread, among other favorites.
  3. KidzTable carefully designs its menus to not only meet all USDA and CACFP guidelines but to appeal especially to children. We make our food age-appropriate and kid-friendly by size, color, and shape.
  4. We provide plenty of variety so that the children we serve experience a wide selection of foods and benefit from trying new foods. We excel at opening up new frontiers of food possibilities that children never knew or dreamed about.  Children at our service sites enjoylove the crunch of fresh bok choy, the natural sweetness of plaintains, and the creaminess of the mashed butternut squash. 
  5. Our chefs are professionally-trained, are ServSafe certified, and have years of experience in preparing food for children.
